I love Fall...the changing leaves...the cool evenings...and the smell of the first fireplace fires of the season. It's great that even while at work I get to take in the beautiful fall colors from my office (pic is view from office). For as long as I can remember we have gone to the pumpkin patch in search of the "perfect" pumpkin. The perfect pumpkin to display in celebration of fall...the perfect pumpkin for carving into a jack-o-latern to light the way for all the little trick-or-treaters. I love seeing all the little ones in their costumes! When we go we always pick out an extra one so I can leave it out until Thanksgiving. This year since Marissa was not able to go with us Michaela picked out one in her honor...it was so stinkin sweet! Picture of the one she picked out is below :) I love watching the kids search for their pumpkins. The place we go (Lynds Fruit Farm) has wagon rides, a corn maze, huge pumpkins the kids can climb all over and the kids favorite a HUGE pile of dirt that they climb and then slide down. So yes we go in the oldest clothes we can find! LOL There are also various types of pick your own apples, fresh apple cider and my fav....kettle corn made in huge black kettles....yummy. I look forward to going every year...it's one of our favorite ways to kick off the fall season. Although this year pumpkin picking was in 86 degree weather so it was hard to rember that it was October! LOL

Josh found this winner in about 2 minutes....he says because he's not "picky"! LOL

Looks like he's ready to kick his pumpkin but really he is scraping dirt and bugs off...note he is using his foot not his hands. LOL

Aww you guys looked like you had a good time, I cant beleive you guys were in shorts and capris!!
Mom the house looks great like it does every fall... and I did see that shadow lol.
Thanks for picking my pumpkin out this year Michaela, it was perfect. Def. one I would choose, with the longer steam good color and just a little bit of bumps lol.
